A little about My Language arts Class
Reading leads to better writing. A well-read writer has a better grasp of grammar, vocabulary, and the finer nuances of language in written form. While basic writing skills can be taught, writing is ultimately a complex process and complicated skill that takes practice and time to develop. In order to write well, one must read and write continuously; therefore, this class is designed to encourage students to read and write every day during the school year. I would encourage students to maintain this habit during the summer and other school breaks as well.

Students also receive a weekly vocabulary list. Every Friday, they will turn in their vocabulary practice packets and take a quiz. Their packets are worth
